Experience Alone Does Not Make a Great Confinement Nanny
At our agency, we believe that experience is important, but personality, attitude, responsibility, and professionalism matter just as much.
I have a confinement nanny who started working in her fifties and is now around 70 years old. She is still actively working with my team and is already booked through June 2027. I personally trust and highly recommend her because of her dedication, excellent attitude, and willingness to keep learning.
Newborn care is a profession that requires continuous learning. Safety guidelines and childcare practices change over time. Having 10 or 20 years of experience does not mean someone should continue using outdated methods.
A great nanny should always remain humble, patient, respectful, and willing to improve. Higher rates should reflect better service, not simply years of experience.
At our agency, we value character as much as experience. A truly great nanny never forgets her passion, dedication, and willingness to learn.
